Section 4:  Exercises in Mindfulness Training and Pleasant Events Diary

 

Practising these exercises, will strengthen your self awareness, strengthen your ability to focus your attention on the present, bring you out of a state of unconsciousness and back to a mindful state.  The pleasant events diary is a fantastic reminder of why being mindful is so important in life.  How we process and appreciate everyday experiences is so rewarding.  Through all our senses we can enjoy life moment by moment, the warmth of the sun, the smell of a flower, the smile from another person, enjoy.
